Our Products

In addition to our pasture-raised whole birds, we offer a range of other farm and small-batch goods, including honey, infused salts, jams and jellies, and branded merchandise. A few notes on these products:

Honey

  • Our honey is raw and minimally processed, which means its color, texture, and flavor may vary naturally from batch to batch depending on the season and what our bees were foraging on.
  • Honey should not be given to infants under 12 months of age, due to the risk of infant botulism. This is a standard precaution recommended for all honey, including ours.
  • Store honey at room temperature in a sealed container. Crystallization is natural and doesn't mean it's spoiled — gently warming the jar will return it to liquid form.

Jams, Jellies, and Preserves

  • Made in small batches with quality ingredients. Please check the label for specific ingredients and allergen information.
  • Refrigerate after opening and use within the timeframe noted on the label for best quality and safety.
  • Unopened jars should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Infused Salts and Other Pantry Goods

  • Store in a cool, dry place, tightly sealed, to preserve flavor and prevent clumping.
  • Please check labels for specific ingredients, especially if you have food allergies or sensitivities.

Merchandise

  • Please refer to individual product listings for sizing, materials, and care instructions.
  • Colors and printed designs may vary slightly from what's shown online due to differences in screens, lighting, and manufacturing batches.

General

  • These products are made in a facility that also handles other food products; please check individual labels for allergen statements.
  • Statements about our products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

If you have questions about any of these products — ingredients, sourcing, or how something is made — we're always happy to talk it through with you.

Small-Batch Jams & Jellies: Seasonality

Our jams and jellies are made in small batches, right on the farm, using fruit and ingredients as close to their natural season as possible. We believe this is what makes them taste the way they should — but it also means a few things are worth knowing:

  • Availability changes with the seasons. Because we rely on ingredients when they're actually ripe and ready, certain flavors may only be available for a limited window each year, and a favorite may sell out and not return until next season.
  • Batches may vary. Small-batch, seasonal fruit means color, sweetness, and set can differ slightly from jar to jar and year to year — that's a sign of real fruit, not a flaw.
  • Recipes may shift slightly from year to year based on what's available and at its best, while we stay true to the flavor you love.
  • We recommend enjoying seasonal flavors while they last, and checking back throughout the year as new batches come available.

If there's a flavor you're hoping to catch, feel free to reach out and ask when it's expected — we're happy to keep you in the loop.

Packaging & Label Appearance

Product packaging and labels may vary from what's shown in photos on our website. We periodically update our labels, packaging, and branding, and print runs can differ slightly in color or layout from what's pictured online. Rest assured, the product inside remains the same— only the outer look may differ.

Card Processing

To help us keep our prices fair and cover the cost of accepting card payments, a processing fee may be applied to orders paid by credit or debit card. This fee reflects the cost charged to us by payment processors and is not an additional profit on our end.

If you'd prefer to avoid this fee, please reach out to us to ask about alternative payment options.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order/ weight.

Shelf-Stable Goods & Shipping

Our shelf-stable products are available to ship. We package these carefully to arrive in great condition. That said, once a package leaves our hands, it's in the care of the shipping carrier, and some things are simply outside of our control — carrier delays, extreme weather, or mishandling in transit can all affect a shipment. We choose packaging, methods, and timing meant to minimize these risks, but we can't guarantee against every possibility once a package is out for delivery.

When your order arrives:

  • Open it right away and check that contents arrived intact and undamaged.
  • If anything seems off — packaging is damaged, a seal is broken, or the shipment is delayed well beyond the expected window — contact us immediately. The sooner we know, the better we can help.

We'd rather hear about a shipping issue than have you guess. Reach out and we'll work with you to make it right.

About Our Birds

Every bird we raise lives out on real pasture — moving, foraging, and growing at its own pace, the way it's meant to. We believe that a slower, more natural life makes for better, more flavorful meat, and we're proud to bring that from our farm to your table. Because our birds are raised this way rather than pushed through an industrial system, you may notice natural variation in size, shape, and appearance from bird to bird — that's a feature of pasture-raised poultry, not a flaw.

Safe Handling & Food Safety

Our pasture-raised whole birds are raised with care on open pasture and processed to the highest standard we can offer — but like all raw poultry, they require proper handling, storage, and cooking to be safe to eat. Please follow these guidelines:

  • Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in the refrigerator, in cold water, or in the microwave — never on the counter at room temperature.
  • Keep raw poultry separate from other foods. Wash hands, cutting boards, utensils, and surfaces with hot, soapy water after they contact raw poultry.
  • Refrigerate promptly. Keep your fridge at 40°F or below and your freezer at 0°F or below. Refrigerate poultry within 2 hours of purchase (1 hour if it's above 90°F outside).
  • Cook thoroughly. Cook whole poultry to a minimum internal temperature of 165°F, checked with a food thermometer in the innermost part of the thigh and wing, and the thickest part of the breast.
  • Do not rinse raw poultry before cooking — this can spread bacteria to your sink, utensils, and countertops rather than remove it.

For your protection, please follow these safe handling instructions. Some raw poultry products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly.
